DrupalCon in Fitou

Currently in Fitou (still until Wednesday), I am working on the DrupalCon Paris 2009.

I thought I would get some sun and tank full of energy for the final sprint, but as it turns out, I have been inside a stone cold office with music outside all day (it is la fête du vin)

But I am getting things done, organising and reorganising, coordinating, calling, meeting, explaining, discussing, looking...and at night I get to eat yummy pizza from our neighbours, wine, ice cream, fading sun beams and a beautiful view.

I even managed to have a real weekend for the first time in a long time. I did some grocery shopping with a smart cabrio, helped out with the renovations next door, attempted the beach but escaped due to a small sandstorm. Sunday was family day: breakfast (real late), film (with apple crumble), beach (well more a foresty hidden-from-the-wind area) to relax and dream a little, dinner and another film :-) with choco ice cream.

And because of the fête du vin I have an almost-private-concert :) They are literally just a couple of metres away from the balcony. (and singing "caravane"!) They look promising though ;)

I think I am gonna visit that balcony of mine and watch village people and tourists.
